We take the time to do the prep right because the floor only sits as flat as the subfloor it's on. We tear out the old, vacuum the dust, level any high spots, fix any low spots, glue and screw any squeaks, and lay the underlayment to spec. The install itself is the easy part.

Demo Day

Furniture out, old floor pulled up, fasteners removed, subfloor swept and inspected. Squeaks fixed, soft spots assessed.

Subfloor Prep

Self-leveler poured into low spots, high spots sanded down, transitions framed clean. Underlayment cut and rolled out per spec.

Install

Plank or tile laid in the right pattern with the right expansion gap. Cuts measured at the wall — never eyeballed.

Baseboard reinstalled, transitions installed, debris hauled. Final walkthrough before we collect the second half.

Do you handle the demo of my existing floor?

Yes. Tear-out, fastener removal, and haul-away are part of the install — same crew, same job. No subcontractor for the demo.

What flooring types do you install?

LVP (luxury vinyl plank), tile (ceramic and porcelain), hardwood (solid and engineered), and laminate. We'll tell you which one fits the room — kitchens, baths, and high-traffic spaces have different requirements.

Do you re-use my existing baseboards or replace them?

We pull baseboards before the install so the new floor sits under them — that's the right way. They go back up after. If a baseboard cracks or splits during removal, we'll quote replacement before we put it back.

How long until I can walk on the new floor?

LVP and laminate: immediately. Hardwood: same day for foot traffic, 24-48 hours for furniture. Tile with mortar: 24 hours for foot traffic, 48-72 hours before grouting and full use.

Will the floor be level if my subfloor isn't?

Yes. Self-leveler pours into low spots, high spots get sanded or planed. We don't shim plank to fake a level — that's how the floor pops six months later.
