Can you match my existing wall texture?

Yes — orange peel, knockdown, smooth, or skip-trowel. We feather the patch wide enough that the texture transition isn't visible once the wall is repainted. Drag-textured walls are the trickiest; we'll cut a sample to confirm before we commit.

How long does drywall mud take to dry between coats?

8 to 24 hours per coat, depending on humidity, mud thickness, and patch size. A standard small patch is a two-day job: mud and tape day one, finish coat and sand day two.

Will I have dust everywhere after the repair?

No. We use dust-containment plastic, a HEPA shop vac, and damp sanding pads where possible. The room you weren't working in stays clean.

Do you handle the painting after the drywall is finished?

Yes. We can prime and topcoat the patch — or repaint the full wall to avoid a flash mark. We'll quote both options on the estimate.

What about cracks at corners and ceiling lines on a newer home?

Settling cracks. Common in homes one to three years old. We embed paper tape with mud, finish over it, and feather wide. They typically don't come back once they're treated correctly.
